Annika is a one of a kind (OOAK) textile collectible handmade art doll. Please note, she is not a play doll and is not intended for kids.

Handmade art doll details

Annika is around 14.5″ tall(or around 10″ seated) and was created in a smoke-free pet-friendly home. As said above, she is made from high quality cotton fabric and covered with cotton knit(made in USA specifically for dolls) which makes her feel very pleasant to the touch.

Her head is sewn, needle sculpted, needle felted and then covered with knit fabric. You can turn it left or right for cute pictures and even at a slight angle.

She is stuffed firmly with premium quality fiber fill and cedar wood shavings. this handmade art doll also has some glass beads inside which gives her some weight and makes her feel more real in your arms(she is heavy-ish!).

Hands

Her fingers (teeny tiny ones!)have wire inside which shapes them nicely.

Her elbows and knees have wooden ball joints. I especially love knee ball joints as they let her sit on the table or shelf looking cute and lively! Please note, Annika is meant to be seated and can’t stand on her own. Her limbs don’t hold the pose even though they bend well.

Body

Annika’s body and face are blushed with artist grade soft pastels and pencil pastels. They are then fixed with the same artist grade fixative and archival UV acrylic spray varnish.

Her eyes are painted with quality acrylic paint and then covered with archival varnish.

Her hair is made of mohair locks. I glued them lock by lock to the handmade wig base(20+ hours just right there!). She has a lot of silky, very soft hair and it is just beautiful.

The outfit looks neat not only on outside but the inside as well. The sweater is knitted with soft Alpaca wool yarn with permanently attached beautiful trim.The pants are sewn from hand dyed cotton. The clothes are removable.

Shoes

Annika’s shoes are  handmade from genuine suede. They are tiny and cute and are handsewn.

Annika is an art doll and is not washable so please handle her gently.

The doll will come in a personalized box with certificate of authenticity and my signature.

Annika will be shipped  FREE  within continental USA via FedEx mail ,insured, within 3 days.

International buyers, shipping varies greatly depending on your location, and thus,might be more or less than the quoted amount.
